After the stupendous weekend opening of yash raj films’ NEW YORK, which released worldwide on June 26th 2009, the film has grossed a phenomenal 55 crores worldwide in its first week to become the biggest hit of 2009 so far.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan, released in over 900 screens worldwide.

The film has been critically acclaimed as well as been wholeheartedly accepted by audiences all over the world.

It is heartening to know that the film has finally brought people back to the theatres and promises to carry on in the same vein going forward.
